Logging in as an Employee (2024)

Service providers, worksite managers, and worksite trusted advisors who are set up with the appropriate user role can use the Proxy Login form to access Benefits Enrollment and Onboarding on behalf of an employee.

Access to an employee's Benefits Enrollment requires the Enrollment Proxy user role, and access to an employee's Onboarding requires the Onboarding Proxy user role.

Note: User roles are assigned using the User Roles form. By acting as a proxy for the employee, users acknowledge that they have received authorization to view the employee's data and, for Benefits Enrollment, to make elections on the employee's behalf.

To log in as an employee:

1. On the HR menu, select HR|Action > Proxy Login. Alternatively, access the Employee Details form, click the <![CDATA[ ]]>Actions menu , and select Proxy Login. The Proxy Login form displays.
2. Complete the following fields as appropriate:
Field Description

Activity

Select whether to access Benefits Enrollment or Onboarding as an employee.

Employee ID/User ID

Enter the ID number of the employee as whom to log in. Alternatively, click the link to select an employee from a list.

Date Enter the date the proxy login is being performed. This must be the current date or a previous date.
Proxy approval received by Select the method used to obtain the employee's approval for the proxy login.
Proxy Reason Enter the reason for the proxy login.
3. Click Start. Based on the selection in the Activity field, the selected employee's Benefits Enrollment or Onboarding display in a new browser window.

Note: When Onboarding is accessed using the Proxy Login form, changes to the forms included in the workflow can be made, but changes cannot be saved and forms cannot be submitted.
