Delivery driver pay
The amount you earn per delivery is a combination of your base pay and any applicable bonuses. Your base pay accounts for factors including mileage, delivery type, time spent delivering, and your local market.

How delivery partners get paid
Delivery partners can choose between two different payment options:
Direct deposit
Get your balance sent directly to your bank account every Thursday.
Get paid instantly
Instant Cash Out whenever you want to your bank account—free for Chase Bank customers and $0.50 each for other bank customers. Or cash out directly to your debit card for $0.50 per transaction.
Maximize your earnings
Catering
Catering offers, available to eligible partners, are calculated the same as non-catering offers, however they are typically larger orders with the potential for larger tips. Learn more about catering deliveries.
Large Orders
Large orders, available to eligible partners, can be accepted or rejected like any other order. Large orders are any order over $150 before tip. Learn more about large orders.
Bundled Offers
Bundled orders may be offered from merchants that are close together to help maximize efficiency. Bundled orders can result in higher earnings for time spent because they give you the opportunity to receive more orders and potentially more tips for less drive time!
Alcohol delivery
Delivery partners ages 21+ in select markets may get orders containing alcoholic beverages. Delivering alcohol is another opportunity for you to make more money, but you need to pay close attention to delivering safely and legally. It’s crucial to keep yourself and customers safe, so please be aware and comply with the law when you deliver alcohol. Learn more about alcohol delivery.

A few important things to know about Grubhub delivery driver pay
If you receive an offer that has multiple orders, we’ll calculate the estimated total time and mileage for all orders together.
If you receive an offer before completing your current delivery, we’ll calculate estimated time and mileage for the new offer starting from where you completed the current delivery.
Total daily pay for mileage, time, and any applicable promotions or bonuses will be shown as Delivery Pay at the top of your Pay Summary in the Grubhub for Drivers App.
Time and mileage estimates are set when you receive the offer.

How much can you make delivering with Grubhub?
Many factors determine how much you can make as a delivery partner. Grubhub delivery pay may depend on how often you deliver, what time of day, and what market you deliver in. You can use Grubhub’s block scheduling to reserve time-slots for when you want to deliver, which helps ensure there aren’t too many drivers on the road and that you’ll get deliveries. Delivery partners get delivery pay + 100% of their tips from completed deliveries. Plus, you can complete Missions and participate in sweepstakes or other special offers to boost pay. Does Grubhub pay drivers daily?
Drivers are able to cash their earnings out up to $500 a day using the Instant Cash Out feature, which is free for Chase Bank customers and $.50 each for all other bank customers. If you do not wish to use the Instant Cash Out feature, payments are sent on Thursdays to your bank via direct deposit.
How long does it take for funds to appear in your bank account?
With Grubhub Instant Cash Out, funds typically transfer to your account right away, if your bank supports real-time payments (RTP). If your bank doesn’t support RTP, it may take a few days to process your payment.
Do Grubhub drivers make tips?
Grubhub drivers keep 100% of their tips from completed deliveries and are able to view their tip after accepting an order. Their tip information is available under each order within the Tasks section in the Grubhub for Drivers App
Do Grubhub drivers receive bonuses?
Grubhub drivers are eligible to take part in Missions that come with additional earning opportunities. Be sure to keep a look out for these special chances to maximize your pay.
