The FPC-Pensacola is a federal prison located at 110 Raby Ave in Pensacola, FL. This federal minimum security prison is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) to hold inmates who have been convicted to and sentenced for a federal crime through the US Department of Justice (DOJ).

The Federal Prison Camp, Pensacola (FPC Pensacola) is a minimum-security United States federal prison for adult male inmates is located on Saufley Field, an outlying airfield of Naval Air Station Pensacola, 175 miles west of the state capital of Tallahassee and 50 miles east of Mobile, AL. FPC Pensacola was opened in 1988. In 2006, the Bureau of Prisons decided to cut costs by closing the Federal Prison Camp, Eglin, which was located at Eglin Air Force Base, in Okaloosa County, FL and moving the inmates to FPC Pensacola. In July 2009, Forbes magazine listed this prison camp as the number two “cushiest prison” in the United States. Inmates live and work amongst civilians and military personnel. A good number of inmates even have daily jobs at the Air Station.
Notable inmates serving time here, Tim Donaghy, the former NBA referee that plead guilty to taking bribes from professional gamblers; Billy Walters, the professional sports gambler convicted of insider trading related to Dean Foods Co. Walters was convicted of leveraging insider information, that was provided to him by former Dean Foods Co. Chairman Tom Davis, into millions of dollars in profits; Mark Whitacre, FBI informant who assisted in the ADM price-fixing investigation; pleaded guilty in 1997 to embezzling $9 million from the company; Whitacre was the subject of the 2009 film The Informant!
Housing: Inmates are housed in open dorms divided into two-person cubicles or eight-person rooms.
Health Services: FPC Pensacola provides sick call, emergency treatment, pharmacy services, physical examinations, dental services, and immunizations. Inmates are assigned to a specific health care provider who treats them for the duration of their stay. Emergency medical care is available 24 hours a day.
Psychology Services: FPC Pensacola provides intake screenings, referrals, acute crisis intervention, suicide prevention and intervention, sexually abusive behavior prevention and intervention, brief counseling, individual and group therapy, mental health evaluation (by staff referral only), and a psychology self-help resource library where inmates can check out books/videos, etc.
Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP): FPC Pensacola houses a Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP). A Drug Abuse Treatment Program, a Drug Abuse Education Program, and the Non-Residential Drug Abuse Treatment Program (NR-DAP) are also offered.
Education Services: FPC Pensacola provides literacy, GED, and English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) programs. A parenting program and Adult Continuing Education (ACE) programs are also available. High school diplomas and post-secondary programs are available through paid correspondence programs.
Advanced Occupational Education: FPC Pensacola does not offer any advanced occupational education programs.
Vocational Training: FPC Pensacola offers Computer Applications, Microsoft Office 2003, and A+ Computer Technician vocational training programs.
Apprenticeship: FPC Pensacola and offers apprenticeships in Cooking, Baker, Carpenter, Electrician, Greenskeeper II, Horticulturist, HVAC Technician, Landscape Technician, Marine Outboard Mechanic, Plumber, Small Engine Mechanic, and Welder.
Library Services: A law library and leisure library are available for inmates. In the law library, inmates can conduct legal research on the TRULINCS Electronic Law Library computers. Typewriters and a copy machine are also available for inmate use. The leisure library offers newspapers, fiction, and nonfiction books, and magazines for inmates to check out.
UNICOR: FPC Pensacola does not house a UNICOR facility.
Commissary: Inmates at FPC Pensacola are allowed to shop in the commissary once a week on their designated day. A monthly spending limitation of $360.00 is imposed. A wide variety of commissary items are available for inmate purchase.
Recreation Services: The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of leisure time activities. Intramural sports such as softball, basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball, weight training, and fitness (abs/stretching, step aerobics, Presidential Sports Award Program, wellness), activities are available. Additional activities include music, hobby craft (art, leather, wood), racquetball, bocce ball, and horseshoes.
